Chapter 1 - 4

A Hebrew prophet is told by the Creator of the Universe to warn the powerful enemy of his nation that their total destruction (to the level of wicked Sodom and Gomorrah’s destruction) is coming upon them within a 40-day period. The prophet hates this city and desires its destruction, but he knows the Creator to be merciful and forgiving. So, in order to secure the destruction of that city, the man of God tries to escape in the opposite direction as far as he can--which turns out to be Spain.

In the ancient ruin city of Nineveh, modern archeologists say that a 40-acre area that is 100 feet high called “Yunas” by the locals is translated “Jonah.” This area is believed to be the burial site of the Hebrew prophet of the Creator. This implies that Jonah had a change of heart and spent the rest of his life ministering to his nation’s worst enemy. Here is Jonah’s story!
